Seachem Flourite Black Clay Gravel - Stable Porous Natural Planted Aquarium Substrate 15.4 lbs

  • Gravel: Seachem Flourite Black is a specially broken stable porous clay gravel for naturally planted aquariums. Its appearance is perfect for planted aquariums, but it can be used in any freshwater aquarium environment.

  • Aquarium Beds: Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not required when using Seachem Flourite Black as this product is most effective when used alone as an integral substrate bed, but can be mixed with other gravels. Setup: When filling the aquarium, fill slowly to avoid disturbing the flourite black substrate bed. Place a bowl in the aquarium and pour water directly into the bowl, letting the water flow gently over the gravel bed. Initial cloudiness is normal, but just use mechanical filtration to remove it.

  • Compatible: Flourite Black Substrates will work well with underground filters and will not soften or decompose in an unsuitable condition inside your tank. Fluorite substrates will work fine with UGF.

  • Safety: Seachem Flourite Black is not chemically coated or treated, thus does not alter the pH of the water. Fluorite black is beneficial for aquarium life and does not need to be replaced.
